Schuberth's most versatile helmet. With built-in solar visor, it can adapt to the demands of all types of riders (sport and touring). With an innovative ventilation system, an impressive air outlet on the back which ensures that the rider's head is always at a pleasant temperature. As regards aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, it has high level advanced technical features. As regards comfort, the optimised neck padding design stands out (allowing for a comfortable fit) as well as the additional padding on the ears.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
Outer shell: Made of S.T.R.O.N.G. fibre, combining an aerodynamic design with excellent protection. It is manufactured using Schuberth's typical compression moulding process and thus permits great stability and a low weight, as well as superb resistance. With 2 sizes for a better fit to each size.
Inner shell: Made of special EPS foam with a sophisticated modular design that affords maximum impact absorption and maximum safety levels.
Interior: Completely removable and washable, made of Coolmax® and Thermocool® fabrics with Interpower® coating, materials that provides the inner lining with a very efficient refrigeration moisture wicking and system. It is anti-allergy and anti-bacterial and can be regulated to achieve efficient ventilation as well as adapt to winter or summer. Designed according to the innovative ComfortFit concept which ensures an optimum fit under any situation.
Visor: Sold with clear anti-scratch visor.
Screen Mechanism: The EasyChange systems allows for quick and easy tool free changing of the screen.
Pinlock: The Pinlock (included) ensures the absence of mist thanks to its double layer technology.
Solar Visor: With a solar visor built into the shell, which can be displaced up and down to adapt the vision to the light conditions.
Aerodynamics: The S2 Sport affords high performance aerodynamics, thanks to its special outer shell design and the lower edge finish, which guarantee an important improvement in the contact pressure. The S2 Sport has hardly any upward lift, even at high speeds. The helmet is also characterised for its great directional stability. With fared bikes it also notably reduces the buffeting effect.
Aeroacoustics: The full acoustic pack (optimised shell, chin guard and ergonomic neck padding design) ensures that the S2 Sport is one of the quietest helmets, with a noise level of 85 dBA at 100km/h (unfared bikes).
Ventilation System: The S2 Sport is equipped with an innovative ventilation system. The combination of multipath channels in the EPS foam shell and the head, chin and mouth ventilation system ensure that fresh air is distributed efficiently throughout the entire head area. The fresh air which enters via the forehead ventilation is conducted through the inner shell's air channels well beyond the back of the head to the rear of the helmet, where the air is expelled via the extractors and the special mesh fabric in the neck padding.
Reflective details: Reflective inserts in the nape padding for greater visibility for night driving or under poor light.
Anti Roll-Off System (A.R.O.S): Avoids the helmet coming off from behind in the event of a fall.
Compatible with the SRS-System?: The helmet is prepared for installing the SRC-System S2 Sport intercom system. With 2 optimised built-in antennas for Bluetooth and radio reception.
Closure: Double D Competition closure system.
